All of us at Bird Placement Program, Inc. including the birds would like to ask for your help. Since BPP is one of the oldest and largest international parrot rescue/refuge organization and we rescue/take in parrots across the USA and Canada we are always in need of public support.
How you can help:
1. Help us spread the word regarding proper bird care and responsible parrot ownership. You can do this by referring people to our website who are thinking about acquiring their first bird. Encourage them to research FIRST.
2. Foster parrots for BPP if you live in the Cleveland/Akron, Ohio area.
3. If you are a student, do a school project on the topic of unwanted pets. Make the public aware of this growing problem. The animals deserve so much more.
4. Volunteer your time helping. If you are not in Ohio but wish to volunteer your time, contact an avian rescue in your state to see if they are in need of volunteers.
